Meet our new Marketing and Communications Associate, Kara!
We’re thrilled to welcome Kara to the RECS Team as our new Marketing and Communications Associate!
Kara is a Portland native and graduated with her BA in Communication Studies with minors in Social Welfare and Justice, Sociology, and Psychology.
After graduating, she moved back home to Portland where she held multiple internships with various nonprofits helping out with their marketing and communications efforts. Her experience in the nonprofit sector led her to her current role at RECS. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to switch industries and try out sports and recreation marketing!
She enjoys playing pickleball at RECS, and you can often find her playing in our Recreational Round Robins. Outside of work, Kara enjoys doing Pilates, reading, cuddling with her two cats, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops with friends.
