Meet Jake Kane, one of our new instructors at RECS Tualatin! Although Jake is new to the RECS Tualatin family, he has been instructing Pickleball for about 3 years.

Jake values building player’s confidence by first providing them with small, achievable goals that they can accomplish consistently. Once they have a solid footing and are feeling confident in their skills, he transitions into more competitive scenarios that mirror game like settings. This helps his clients take what they’ve learned in lessons or clinics and then apply it to their actual play!

Jake’s favorite part about being an instructor at RECS Tualatin is the atmosphere! Compared to our 9 court location in Clackamas, RECS Tualatin is a bit smaller, with 4 indoor cushioned courts. Jake describes RECS Tualatin as a warm and intimate atmosphere that allows him to build relationships and focus completely on those that he is instructing.

A fun fact about Jake is he used to be a competitive road cyclist. For fun, he would do hundred mile rides on the highway!
