What is DUPR?
DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is the world’s largest and most accurate pickleball rating system, used by players at every level — from weekend warriors to pros. Your DUPR score is calculated based on the results of your matches and updates dynamically after every rated event, giving you a true picture of where your game stands.

What Is the DUPR Reliability Score?
Your DUPR profile shows two numbers: your rating (your skill level) and your Reliability Score — a percentage that shows how established that rating is. Think of it as a confidence meter for your rating.
How it’s calculated
Your Reliability Score is based on how many matches you’ve played, how recently you played them, and the variety of opponents you’ve faced. New players start low — that’s expected. The score climbs as you play more and enter results consistently.
Scores update every Tuesday. If you stop logging matches, your score will decrease over time — DUPR weights recent play more heavily than older results.
How to raise your score
- Play with a variety of partners and opponents — don’t just stick to the same group
- Play against similarly rated players for the highest impact matches
- Enter results in club or tournament matches — these count the most
- Play against highly reliable players to add more credibility to your results
- Log results consistently — gaps in play cause your score to drop over time
